Director Allan Lenane has recently purchased a Loadrite X2350 excavator system for their 45t CAT excavator. The scales were a requirement for work that involves the weighing and sorting of individual rocks to be used for a breakwater and seawall. The weighing system is also being used to load out trucks ensuring compliance with load and dimension regulations.
Allan said “The SITECH WA crew has been extremely supportive through the entire process. They supplied, fitted and calibrated the system, including setting up the remote, near real-time reporting system, InsightHQ. Although we are still in the initial stages of the project, the reports delivered by InsightHQ are providing the required information such as a number of rocks lifted, the weight of each rock and the total weight of each category of rock. We will also be using the reporting system to record the weight of the rocks loaded into each truck. These reports are emailed to the office daily and are able to be printed, filed or forwarded as required. We are confident that this system will help us provide all the information required by our client to collate timely and accurate records.”
