Avon Valley Plant recently purchased a CAT 259D Skid Steer with the new BB121 Box Blade and approached SITECH WA to supply and install a Trimble Accugrade 2D Dual Laser System on it.
The box blade seamlessly integrates to the skid steer, with the Trimble Accugrade 2D Dual Laser system providing level guidance to automatically control the blade to grade.
Avon Valley Plant Director Stuart Sprigg said “The productivity is absolutely magic! What would normally take two to three guys half a day, can now be done by 1 person in 2 hours.”
He also said “On a recent project I was able to level a 1300M² shed pad to within 5mm in less than 3 hours, and I didn’t have to get out of the machine once!”
